About the destination: Manila is the biggest city and the economic and business hub of the Philippines. It is situated on the eastern coast of Manila Bay on Luzon, the nation's largest island. Manila is a contemporary metropolis with Filipino heritage and a unique ambiance created by the fusion of Spanish, Chinese, and American cultures. The city is dotted with numerous temples and worship places of various religions. Baroque colonial churches, Buddhist and Taoist temples, and the stunning Golden Mosque exemplify the city’s diverse cultural heritage. Rizal Park, also referred to as the Luneta, is the city’s primary attraction. The park houses many significant sites to visit such as the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, the National Museum of the Philippines, The National Library of the Philippines, the Planetarium, an Orchidarium, an open-air auditorium for cultural events, and the monument and final resting place of the nation’s hero, José Rizal. At the northern tip of Manila Bay is the old walled Spanish settlement of Manila, Intramuros, which translates to within the walls. Unfortunately, much of it was destroyed during the war, but it still holds some of the city's most intriguing museums, ruins, and churches including the Manila Cathedral, the country's most significant church. About the destination: Cebu City, also known officially as the City of Cebu, is the capital city of the Cebu province and is considered the "second city" of the Philippines. It serves as the hub of Metro Cebu, which is the second most populous metropolitan area in the Philippines, following Metro Manila. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • Basilica of Santo Niño. This large and historic church dates back to the establishment of the Santo Niño de Cebu convent in 1565. • Colon St. Despite the bustling traffic, this is the oldest street in the Philippines, featuring charming, albeit worn-out, classical buildings from the American Era. • Fort San Pedro (Fuerza de San Pedro). This was the smallest Spanish outpost in the Philippines during the colonial period. It now houses a small museum displaying wreckage and treasures from the sunken San Diego galleon from Mexico. The area is picturesque, with the newly renovated, open-air Plaza Independencia at the entrance. • Fuente Osmeña • Magellan's Cross. This octagonal building is adorned with murals and houses a large wooden cross. It commemorates the Portuguese conquistador Ferdinand Magellan, who planted a wooden cross when he converted the original inhabitants to Christianity. • Casa Gorordo Museum.

About the destination: Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located south of Manila and the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak in the municipality of Malay, in Aklan Province. Boracay is also famous for being one of the world's top destinations for relaxation. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • White Beach. • Puka Beach. • Baling Hai Beach. This is a quiet little cove just north of Diniwid Beach, where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling and dining in a relaxed, peaceful environment. • Bulabog Beach. • The Bat Cave. The cave is on the western-end of the island and down several dirt roads. The mouth of the cave is littered with large boulders, and is difficult to enter and walk down.
